Story of Origin:

.. One day, in an average household in Ohio, an inside cat named Oreo had to get several of his teeth pulled. After the surgery, his owner, Karen, had a hard time getting a cold pack to stay on his chin to help the swelling subside. Karen, facing some concern, had the idea of putting some kind of straps on the rice pack to help it stay in place and make it easier on herself and her fur baby. The hobby filled woman then heads to her sewing machine, forging a strapped rice pack that will go over Oreo's head and ears to keep the pack stable on his swollen jaw. After a short while in the freezer, she put the rice pack on Oreo and following only a few moments of confusion he melted into the pack, finding relief in his sore and swollen jaw from the cold rice inside.

After a few weeks went by, her outside cat, Nugget, also had to get several of his teeth pulled. When Karen went back to the Veterinary Clinic to discuss Nugget's surgery, she showed them photographs of her invention and they loved it! A few days later she brought the invention to her daughter, Heather, asking for help creating a more sustainable pack. As the following weeks came they tweaked idea after idea, changing sizes and ounces of rice, manipulating their materials to create the final product - the Boo Boo Pak ᴸᴸᶜ!

However, our journey did not end there, after we created a few prototypes we traveled to the same Veterinary Clinic who had performed the surgeries on Oreo and Nugget to show them the idea! They LOVED the Boo Boo Paks we had brought even more than the originals, and had a few pieces of advice for our product (that's how we found out how sensitive dogs noses are!). We put their information and advice right into our work, making Boo Boo Pak safer and more comfortable.

Forwarding the process even more, in between crafting Paks, we began to gather our own information for a patent and started getting our sellers licenses so we would have the opportunity to sell our Boo Boo Paks wherever the help is welcomed! ✿ ..
